Once you are happy with your painted design you need to leave the paint to dry, so leave the glasses in the safe place for 24 hours. Once the paint is dry you can either apply a second coat of paint if you want more vivid colours, or you can bake your glass, the temperature and time needed to set the paint should be listed on the paint bottle. Once the glass has been baked for the required time, leave it in the oven till it has cooled down to room temperature, then wash it in mild detergent to remove any residue.

Once your glass has been baked, the paints will have set which means your beautiful painted design is now washable, though be wary most paints will only be hand washable, so never put them in the dishwasher, or else your beautiful painted wine glass will be ruined.
