In a previous chat, someone mentioned buying wine online. What a tangled web we weave when it comes to the Internet and vino! The three-tier distribution system of importers, wholesalers and retailers that differs by state makes the process complex. Certain retailers, such as Wine.com, have helped by establishing local relationships with distributors by state. (I've listed many online retailers here.) As well, legislation seems to moving in the direction of fewer restrictions, but there's a long way to go before we finally shake off the mortal coil of Prohibition.
