Let's get into the festive spirit by sharing our favorite movie moments with sparkling wine. Champagne and other bubblies seem to feature frequently in films, perhaps because a glass of bubbles is visual shorthand for romance or sophistication.
But enough subtext!
Do you, like me, notice which type of glass the actors are using and how they hold it? Do you try to see the label of the bottle, even read the vintage? OK, maybe I should relax, but I love when wine is part of the scene.
My favorite bubbly moments include:

- An Affair to Remember when Deborah Kerr and Cary Grant compare their time together to rose champagne
- The Seven Year Itch when Marilyn Monroe brilliantly pairs champagne and potato chips
- Goldfinger when James Bond refers to the temperature of the Dom Perignon and you know he's referring to something else
